I am really enjoying the Olympics this year and wondered who would get the closest to the medal count. I checked and there are 90 medal events so some of us are being unrealistically optimistic. Here are the totals of what we all guessed. A running count of the US medals to date is below.
From Jeff- Yeah well carrot top Shaun White should get about 20 bonus golds for height, then I might have a chance.
On another note, I don't think my prediction of the worst natural disaster will actually be the worst natural disaster in terms of damage or death, but, reflect on the recent snowstorm in Alabama and the Florida panhandle, look out your window, and then re-read my super-psychic prediction . .. . . . . ."The worst natural disaster in terms of IMPACT (lives lost, damage, etc) caused will be too late- it’s obviously Haiti- But my FUTURE prediction is- Global Cooling freezes old farts in Florida.
